The Spring 2005 edition of Ambiente Buenos Aires has ended
-
Once again, the exhibition of the Gift, Decoration and Interior Design sector ended successfully.
-
Design showed that it is at the forefront of the economic activity and that domestic market is growing and positioning its products abroad.
After 4 days, the Spring 2005 edition of Ambiente Buenos Aires has come to an end. Edition after edition, the exhibition is becoming the most important domestic event both in terms of aesthetics and of organization. Ambiente Buenos Aires stood out for its quality, its design, the creativity and the mood to promote business opportunities.
The sector is taking huge steps towards exports and technology development. In this event, exhibitors were in the search of business contacts with new clients, to project their sales to other destinations. Many of them were successful and thus extended their client portfolio. Among the contacts with foreign markets were businessmen and marketers from Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, and others.
This last edition was attended by 9,424 professional visitors, who toured the 110 booths in a cordial business setting.
The aesthetic profile of the exhibition was already noticeable at the lobby, at the
Inspirational Sector, where visitors were invited to go through a wooden deck to watch large displays with the products that were found at booths. Soft music played in this room called for a more thorough look at the products. The path went through 4 displays: houseware, bed & bath, decoration and kitchenware.
The Inspirational Sector is one of the distinctive components of Ambiente that attracts designers who want to become informed of new trends, and is extremely useful to all visitors, as a window to the fair.
Another key component of the fair is that many companies choose Ambiente as a platform to launch their new products and collections. The Centro Metropolitano de Diseño (Metropolitan Design Center) was one of the organizations that chose the exhibition to present new product developments related to “the culture of eating and meeting”. These products were focused on potential clients and on supply chains. Among the products featured in this presentation, entitled “Everyday life products” , were a kettle designed according to the needs of current mate users, a cutlery and crockery organizer that can be used to dry and keep the products, and a novel saucepan design with a single handle, and others.
Likewise, Ambiente Buenos Aires was chosen by the School of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning of the University of Buenos Aires to exhibit their textile designs and other surfaces. Students of the three levels of the Chair of María Luisa Musso presented their designs.
Some of the exhibitors aired their views on the exhibition:
María Cicone, of All about Leather: “Ambiente was an important partner to All about Leather since the very start of our business. Last week’s exhibition was the fourth time we were present and, as in previous editions, the outcome was extremely positive. We received
orders from stores/ professionals/ designers with whom we had already worked and from new customers. As in previous editions, new customers are important ones and come from several areas of the country and the world (such as Texas, Venezuela and Mexico). Thanks to its level of service, Ambiente plays a key role
in the development of businesses that are oriented to design and quality in Argentina, and we are therefore certain that we will continue to participate in future exhibitions.”
Sylvia Fiedler, of Huella: “This edition -the fourth in which we have been present- was particularly good. I had the chance to contact some new customers. Regarding business opportunities, I will only be able to assess the outcome of our presence at the fair in the future, but I have already gotten several new
contacts".
Ambiente Buenos Aires featured all elements necessary to encourage business opportunities under the same roof: High level of visitors and an environment of quality and excellence ideal to promote business opportunities.
